Relating To The Hawaii Community Development Authority.

Abstract

Creates the Kona Community Development District to allow for planning, development, and maintenance of public lands in Kona, on the island of Hawaiʻi. Amends the Hawaiʻi Community Development Authority membership to include members of Kona. Requires the Hawaiʻi Community Development Authority and the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to seek federal grants and loans from the United States Department of Agriculture's Community Facilities Direct Loan and Grant Program for the construction of a correctional project within the new development district. Effective 7/1/3000. (HD1)
