"Georgia Courts Access and Consumer Protection Act"; enact

Abstract

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Title 7 and Article 5 of Chapter 11 of Title 9 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to banking and finance, and depositions and discovery under the "Georgia Civil Practice Act," respectively, so as to regulate third-party litigation financing practices in this state; to provide a short title; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date and applicability; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
