Abstract

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 20-2-150 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to eligibility for enrollment under the "Quality Basic Education Act," so as to provide that certain students whose parents or guardians are on active duty in the United States armed forces are eligible for enrollment in the public school of the attendance zone in which they intend to reside regardless of whether they have entered into a lease, purchased a house, or otherwise secured housing within such attendance zone; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
