Abstract

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Part 14 of Article 6 of Chapter 2 of Title 20 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to other educational programs under the "Quality Basic Education Act," so as to provide for a campus program to support military students and their families; to authorize the Department of Education to establish minimum requirements for a school to participate in such program; to authorize the department to establish additional criteria for a school to participate in such program; to authorize a school to partner with a local school system to procure any assistance necessary to implement criteria for such program; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
