Victim and Accused Reconciliation Act; enact

Abstract

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 17 of Title 17 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the crime victims' bill of rights, so as to enact the "Victim and Accused Reconciliation Act"; to provide for victim and accused reconciliation; to provide for a short title; to provide for notification; to provide for reconciliation measures; to provide for restitution agreement and submission of same to the sentencing court; to provide for waiver; to provide for limitations; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
