Food; payment requirements for purchase and sale of livestock; provide

Abstract

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 4 of Chapter 2 of Title 26 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to advertisement and sale of meat generally, so as to provide payment requirements for the purchase and sale of livestock; to provide for alternative payment requirements as agreed upon by parties to the purchase and sale of livestock; to provide for the enforcement and penalty for failure to pay for livestock as required; to amend Chapter 10 of Title 50 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the Georgia Development Authority, so as to authorize the Georgia Development Authority to guarantee or insure loans and provide grants to certain meat and poultry processing plants; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
