Crimes and offenses; access to medical cannabis; revise provisions

Abstract

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 12 of Title 16 of the O.C.G.A., relating to offenses against public health and morals, so as to revise provisions regarding access to medical cannabis; to amend Chapter 2A of Title 31 of the O.C.G.A., relating to the Department of Community Health, so as to transfer the operation and maintenance of the Low THC Oil Patient Registry to the Georgia Composite Medical Board; to provide for the term of validity of a registration card; to direct the board to contract with a third party for operation of the registry; to provide for conforming changes; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
