Health insurance; teachers and state employees; prohibit Board of Community Health from entering into or renewing a contract with qualified entities under specific conditions

Abstract

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Part 6 of Article 17 of Chapter 2 of Title 20 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to health insurance plans for public school teachers and other public school personnel, and Part 1 of Article 1 of Chapter 18 of Title 45 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the state employees' health insurance plan and post-employment health benefit fund, so as to prohibit the Board of Community Health from entering into or renewing a contract for the state health benefit plan with qualified entities under specific conditions; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date and applicability; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
