Public Officials' Conduct and Lobbyist Disclosure; illegal for an elected official of a local government to register as a lobbyist; provide

Abstract

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 4 of Chapter 5 of Title 21 of Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to public officials' conduct and lobbyist disclosure, so as to provide that it shall be illegal for an elected official of a local government to register as a lobbyist or engage in lobbying if such official is compensated for such lobbying activities other than by such official's salary from such local government; to provide for related matters; to provide an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
