Abstract

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Title 52 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to waters of the state, ports, and watercraft, so as to authorize the department to promulgate rules and regulations regarding long-term anchoring; to revise definitions; to establish anchorage restriction areas; to allow for operation and flotation of live-aboard vessels with marine sanitation devices within estuarine areas of the state; to remove record-keeping requirements; to provide for an effective date; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
