Handicapped persons; blind persons shall not be discriminated against in matters relating to child custody; provisions

Abstract

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 4 of Title 30 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to rights of persons with disabilities, so as to define a term; to provide that blind persons shall not be discriminated against by the courts, Department of Human Services, or a child-placing agency in matters relating to child custody, guardianship, visitation, placement, or adoption; to provide for rules and regulations; to provide an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
