Abstract

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Title 31 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to health, so as to provide for office based surgery procedures; to provide for definitions; to provide for exemptions; to provide for application of procedures; to provide for accreditation or certification requirements; to provide for competency standards; to provide for sedation assessment and management; to provide for separation of surgical and monitoring functions; to provide for emergency care and transfer protocols; to provide for medical record requirements; to provide for standards of practice; to provide for adverse events and advertising requirements; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
