Public benefits; no longer require applicant to establish United States citizenship repeatedly

Abstract

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 50-36-1, relating to verification requirements, procedures, conditions, exceptions, regulations, and criminal and other penalties for violations, so as to no longer require an applicant for a public benefit who has clearly established his or her United States citizenship to repeatedly establish his or her citizenship for the same benefit; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
