Law Enforcement Officers, Correctional Officers, and Institutional Security Specialists

Abstract

Law Enforcement Officers, Correctional Officers, and Institutional Security Specialists; Citing this act as the "Correctional and Probation Officer Fairness Act"; requiring that the average salary of a correctional officer, a correctional probation officer, or an institutional security specialist be no less than a certain percentage of the average salaries of sworn law enforcement officers; requiring the Department of Management Services to submit an annual compensation analysis report to the Governor and the Legislature; requiring an annual salary increase for sworn law enforcement officers, correctional officers, correctional probation officers, and institutional security specialists, etc.
