Abstract

Pharmacist Selection and Reimbursement; Authorizes health plan members, Medicaid recipients, Medicaid enrollees, insureds, subscribers & covered individuals under state group insurance program plans, Medicaid managed care plans, Medicaid providers contracted with AHCA, individual health insurance policies, group, blanket, & franchise health insurance policies & health maintenance contracts to select in-network pharmacists for pharmaceutical services; prohibits reimbursement to in-network pharmacists from being denied under certain circumstances; provides that licensed pharmacists may count toward network adequacy standards for access to services within scope of practice of pharmacists.
