Fire Prevention ; Requires local enforcement agency to issue permit for fire alarm system project or fire sprinkler system project within specified time period; authorizes work to commence immediately; requires local enforcement agency to provide inspection within specified timeframe; requires that certain plans & specifications be available for onsite plans review during inspection; requires contractor to provide additional documents, if necessary, within specified timeframe; prohibits local enforcement agency from requiring additional plans reviews or documentation outside scope of permitted work; requires that permit fees be refunded by certain percentage if local government fails to meet certain deadlines; provides exceptions; requires local enforcement agencies to establish simplified permitting process by specified date; provides that county or municipality may only enforce ordinance that has been sent to Florida Building Commission & State Fire Marshal as of certain date; requires uniform summary inspection report to include specified information; removes requirement for brief summary of deficiencies; requires contractor's detailed inspection report to be provided along with uniform summary inspection report; removes exception from submitting certain information within detailed inspection report.
