Establishment of Paternity

Abstract

Establishment of Paternity; Creates presumption of legal father; authorizes certain persons to rebut such presumption by filing petition to determine paternity; provides requirements relating to petition, appointment of guardian ad litem & attorney ad litem, evidentiary hearings & trial, burden of proof, genetic testing, objections to test results, determining best interests of child, & final order determining paternity; authorizes & provides requirements for court to approve, grant, or modify parenting plan & establish child support orders.
