Abstract

Emergency Response; Creating the Local Government Emergency Bridge Loan Program within the Department of Economic Opportunity, subject to appropriation; authorizing the department to provide interest-free loans to eligible local governments through specified means; requiring the loan amount to be based on demonstrated need of the local government and disbursed in a lump sum; authorizing the department to approve loans through the end of the 2023-2024 fiscal year, subject to the availability of funds, etc. APPROPRIATION: $700,000,000
