Abstract

Cybersecurity; Citing this act as the “Florida Cyber Protection Act”; requiring the Florida Digital Service to ensure that independent project oversight is performed in a certain manner and to take certain actions relating to the procurement of project oversight as a service; requiring that the state data center be overseen by and accountable to the Department of Management Services in consultation with certain officers; requiring a state agency to report ransomware and cybersecurity incidents within a certain time period; requiring a local government to report ransomware and cybersecurity incidents within a certain time period, etc.
