Abstract

Recycling of Covered Electronic Devices; Establishes statewide Covered Electronic Device Recovery Program within DEP; authorizes DEP to use specified funds to administer program; specifies requirements for statewide plan for recycling of covered electronic devices; requires counties to submit specified plan for disposal of covered electronic devices by specified date; requires owners or operators of certain facilities to begin disposing of such facilities' covered electronic devices in permitted reclamation facility beginning on specified date; prohibits any person from disposing of covered electronic devices except at permitted reclamation facility beginning on specified dates; provides civil penalties; authorizes such penalties to be waived under certain conditions.
