Abstract

Pub. Rec./Photographs, Recordings, and Reports of Autopsies of Minor Victims; Creates exemption from public records requirements for photograph or video or audio recording of killing of minor; requires that any viewing, copying, listening to, or other handling of such photograph or video or audio recording be under direct supervision of custodian of record or designee; requires that surviving parents of minor be given notice of petitions to view, copy, or listen to photograph or video or audio recording of killing of minor & opportunity to be present & heard at related hearings; creates exemption from public records requirements for autopsy reports of minors whose deaths were related to acts of domestic violence; requires that any viewing, copying, or other handling of such autopsy reports be under direct supervision of custodian of record or designee; requires that certain surviving parents of minor whose death was related to act of domestic violence be given notice of petitions to view or copy minor's autopsy report & opportunity to be present & heard at related hearings; provides for future legislative review & repeal of exemption.
