Legalization of Recreational Marijuana

Abstract

Legalization of Recreational Marijuana; Renaming the Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco within the Department of Business and Professional Regulation as the Division of Alcoholic Beverages, Marijuana, and Tobacco; authorizing persons 21 years of age and older to engage in specified activities relating to the personal use of marijuana; imposing limitations and requirements on the cultivation of marijuana for personal use; requiring such licensees to prioritize qualified patients in the event of any shortages; providing for cannabis testing facilities; requiring approval of testing facilities; requiring certain warning labels; removing cannabis from the schedule of controlled substances; authorizing an individual convicted of certain offenses to have his or her criminal history record sealed or to petition the court for expunction of his or her criminal history record, under certain circumstances, etc.
