Abstract

Public Records/Autopsy Reports of Minors; Citing this act as the “Rex and Brody Reinhart Act”; creating an exemption from public records requirements for autopsy reports of minors whose deaths were related to acts of domestic violence; requiring that certain surviving parents of a minor child whose death was related to domestic violence be given notice of petitions to view or copy the minor child’s autopsy report and of the opportunity to be present and heard at the related hearings under certain circumstances; providing for future legislative review and repeal of the exemption; providing a statement of public necessity, etc.
