Organ Donation and Transplantation

Abstract

Organ Donation and Transplantation; Requiring locations where certain recreational licenses or permits are sold to display and make available to the public educational materials relating to organ donation and registration; authorizing reimbursement for certain organ transplantation services under the Medicaid program; prohibiting a health insurance policy from limiting or excluding coverage solely on the basis that an insured is a living organ donor; prohibiting an organ transplantation facility from charging a donor or his or her family member any fee for services relating to the procurement or donation of organs, etc.
