Sunset Process - Senate Health and Human Services Committee. In 2019, the division of insurance within the department of regulatory agencies (department) established the primary care payment reform collaborative (collaborative) to, among other things, advise in the development of affordability standards and targets for carrier investments in primary care, identify barriers to the adoption of alternative payment models by health-care providers and insurers, and develop recommendations to address barriers. The bill implements the recommendations of the department's sunset review and report by: Continuing the collaborative for 7 years, until September 1, 2032; and Scheduling the next sunset review to take place pursuant to the sunset review structure for advisory committees.(Note: This summary applies to this bill as introduced.)
