The act eliminates the requirement that the department of public health and environment (department) assist and staff the stroke advisory board and the Colorado coroners standards and training board. Each board is authorized to accept and expend gifts, grants, and donations to cover the board's direct expenses. The general fund appropriation to the department for use by the health facilities and emergency medical services division is decreased by $44,007.
