Existing law requires that meet and confer notices with specified information be filed in support of specified motions. This bill would require that the meet and confer notices specify that the parties have met and conferred regarding the retention of a certified shorthand reporter for the hearing on the motion. This bill also specifies that the meet and confer may be done through electronic communications.
