Existing law authorizes a local planning agency to provide a copy of or post, among other things, a site plan on the internet and to allow the site plan, among other things, to be copied. Existing law defines a "site plan" for these purposes to mean a document for a project that is drawn to scale and displays specified information, including, among other things, topographic lines, drainage, lighting, distance between buildings, and ground sign location. This bill would revise the definition of "site plan" for these purposes to remove the requirement that the document displays topographic lines, drainage, lighting, distance between buildings, and ground sign location.
