Parent and child relationship.

Abstract

Existing law, the Uniform Parentage Act, prescribes various circumstances under which an action may be brought for the purpose of determining the existence or nonexistence of a parent and child relationship, and specifies by whom the action may be brought, including, but not limited to, the child, the Department of Child Support Services, or a presumed parent, as specified. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to those provisions.
