The Financial Information System for California: California State Auditor's Office.

Abstract

Existing law, the Financial Information System for California (FISCal) Act, provides for the development and implementation of the Financial Information System for California and requires the California State Auditor's Office to independently monitor the system until it is completed. Existing law requires the office to take prescribed actions to monitor the system, including monitoring a contract for independent project oversight and independent verification and validation services relating to the system. This bill would require the monitoring of that contract to be annual.
