Vehicles: driver's licenses.

Abstract

Existing law requires a person who drives a vehicle upon a highway to have a valid driver's license. Existing law prescribes specified fees that shall be collected by the Department of Motor Vehicles for the issuance and renewal of a driver's license. Commencing on January 1, 2027, this bill would waive the driver's license renewal fee for a homeless person, as specified.
