Postsecondary education: student mental health spending: report.

Abstract

Existing law establishes the University of California, administered by the Regents of the University of California, the California State University, administered by the Trustees of the California State University, and the California Community Colleges, administered by the Board of Governors of the California Community Colleges, as the 3 segments of public postsecondary education in the state. This bill would require the University of California, the California State University, and the Chancellor's Office of the California Community Colleges to submit a report by March 1 each year to the Department of Finance and the relevant policy and fiscal committees of the Legislature on the use of funds allocated for student mental health resources, as specified.
