Employment Development Department: automation plans.

Abstract

Existing law creates the Employment Development Department within the Labor and Workforce Development Agency, and sets forth its powers and duties regarding job creation activities. Existing law requires the Director of Employment Development to prepare a biennial report to the Legislature, on or before February 1 of each even-numbered year, on the department's automation plans, including recommendations for improvements, as specified. This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to those provisions.
