The California Cultural and Historical Endowment.

Abstract

Existing law establishes in the Natural Resources Agency the California Cultural and Historical Endowment, consisting of 10 members, and requires 2 members of the Senate, appointed by the Senate Committee on Rules, and 2 members of the Assembly, appointed by the Speaker of the Assembly, to meet with the endowment and participate in its activities, to the extent that participation is not incompatible with their respective positions as legislative members. This bill would authorize the 4 appointed members of the Legislature to appoint designees who may meet with the endowment and participate in its activities.
