Emergency vehicles: exhaust systems: exemptions.

Abstract

Existing law generally requires a motor vehicle to be equipped with a motor vehicle pollution control device. Existing law exempts specified emergency vehicles from this requirement. This bill would also exempt specified emergency vehicles used by a community college, police academy, fire academy, or similar facility solely for the training of emergency response personnel.
