Military base reuse authority: board of directors.

Abstract

The Military Base Reuse Authority Act authorizes a city or county in which a military base is located to establish an authority with specified powers and duties, upon the adoption of appropriate resolutions, to plan for, finance, and manage the transition of the military base from military to civilian use. The act requires the authority to be governed by a board of directors and specifies that a majority of the members of the board constitute a quorum and may act for the authority. This bill would specify that a majority of the voting members of the board constitute a quorum and may act for the authority.
