Bill Subjects

Health Care Coverage.

Abstract

Existing law states the intent of the Legislature to create a process by which the options for achieving universal health care coverage can be thoroughly examined. Existing law requires the Secretary of California Health and Human Services to report to the Legislature on the options for achieving health care coverage, including specified information. Existing law requires the report to be submitted on or before December 1, 2001. This bill would delete the December 1, 2001, report due date and would repeal the reporting requirement on January 1, 2023.
