Existing law establishes the Department of Motor Vehicles under the control of the Director of Motor Vehicles and sets forth the powers and duties of the department. Existing law requires the director to administer and enforce the provisions of the Vehicle Code relating to the department and to appoint and fix the salaries of a deputy director and any other officers, deputies, technical experts, and employees, as specified. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that provision.
