State Energy Resources Conservation and Development Commission: distributed energy resources: study.

Abstract

Existing law establishes the State Energy Resources Conservation and Development Commission and sets forth its powers and duties. Existing law requires the commission, at least every 2 years, to conduct assessments and forecasts of all aspects of energy industry supply, production, transportation, delivery and distribution, demand, and prices. This bill would require the commission to make specified determinations relating to distributed energy resources and the electric transmission and distribution systems by January 1, 2022.
