Residential care facilities for the elderly.

Abstract

Existing law, the California Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly Act, provides for the licensure of residential care facilities for the elderly by the State Department of Social Services. Existing law prohibits the operation of a residential care facility for the elderly without a current valid license. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to these provisions.
