Oil and gas: definitions.

Abstract

Existing law requires a person who acquires the right to operate a well or production facility to notify the State Oil and Gas Supervisor or the oil and gas district deputy of the person's operation, as provided. Existing law defines "person" for purposes of this law as an individual, firm, association, corporation, or other combination acting as a unit. This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to the definition of "person."
