AB 1496

  • California Assembly Bill
  • 2017-2018 Regular Session
  • Introduced in Assembly
  • Assembly
  • Senate
  • Governor

Public offenses: detention.

Abstract

Existing law provides that a person charged with a public offense may not be subjected, before conviction, to any more restraint than is necessary for his or her detention to answer the charge. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that provision.
