Gang Violence Suppression Program.

Abstract

Existing law establishes the Gang Violence Suppression Program to provide financial and technical assistance for district attorneys' offices, local law enforcement agencies, school districts, other local agencies, and community-based organizations that are primarily engaged in the suppression of gang violence, for purposes of combating gang violence. This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to those provisions.
