District agricultural associations: formation.

Abstract

Existing law divides the state into specified agricultural districts. Existing law authorizes 50 or more persons who are residents of a district to form a district agricultural association for specified purposes, including holding fairs, expositions, and exhibitions for the purpose of exhibiting all of the industries and industrial enterprises, resources, and products of every kind or nature of the state. This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to the provisions authorizing the formation of district agricultural associations.
