Developmental services: regional centers: funding.

Abstract

Existing law, the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act, requires the State Department of Developmental Services to enter into contracts with private nonprofit corporations to operate regional centers for the provision of community services and supports for persons with developmental disabilities and their families. Existing law requires each regional center to submit, on or before August 1 of each year, to the department and the state council a program budget plan for the subsequent budget year. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to those provisions.
