SB 418

  • California Senate Bill
  • 2011-2012 Regular Session
  • Introduced in Senate Feb 16, 2011
  • Senate
  • Assembly
  • Governor

Public Utilities Commission.

Abstract

The California Constitution establishes the Public Utilities Commission, with jurisdiction over public utilities, and provides for the membership and tenure of the members of the commission. Existing law requires each commissioner, before entering upon the duties of the office, to take and subscribe the constitutional oath of office. This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to the oath requirement.
