Pupil health: specialized physical health care services.

Abstract

Existing law authorizes specified individuals to assist an individual with exceptional needs who requires specialized physical health care services during the regular schoolday. Existing law requires the State Department of Education and the State Department of Health Care Services to jointly develop, and the State Board of Education to adopt, regulations to implement this provision. Existing law requires the State Department of Education, on or before June 15, 2001, to review and make recommendations to the state board regarding any needed updates to these regulations. This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to the latter provision.
