Bill Subjects

Pests.

Abstract

Existing law establishes the Department of Food and Agriculture, which is under the control of the Secretary of Food and Agriculture, and, among other things, requires the department to protect the agricultural industry of this state from pests. Existing law defines "pest" for purposes of these provisions. This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to the definition of "pest."
