Private postsecondary education: schools of cosmetology.

Abstract

Existing law, the California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009, provides, among other things, for student protections and regulatory oversight of private postsecondary schools in the state. Schools of cosmetology are regulated under the act. This bill would exempt schools of cosmetology, as defined, from the act.
