Parole: day treatment: crisis care.

Abstract

Existing law authorizes the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to obtain day treatment, and to contract for crisis care services, for parolees with mental health problems. Existing law directs the department to work with counties with the goal of extending these services upon completion of the offender's period of parole. This bill would repeal these provisions.
